JOSE L.PIEDRA
Vicente and Jos Lamadrid Piedra created the Jos L. Piedra as a commercial brand in 1880. Their cigar factory was at Calle Maximo Gsmez No. 5 in Remedios, in the tobacco-growing area of Vuelta Arriba, in what is now Sancti Spritus Province. After the Cuban Revolution, the brand was launched very successfully as a product popular among demanding Cuban smokers. This brand is known for its simple packaging-in cardboard boxes and cellophane-wrapped bunches. It comes in a medium size, with a pleasant aroma and slightly strong and typically Cuban taste. |
